Blackberry vinegar is made from ripe fruits at Obstguts Sonntag in Wachtberg Fritzdorf. It is not, as usual, an extract from blackberries in wine vinegar, but the fruits are fermented on the mash. Without added flavors.

Blackberries naturally contain little fermentable sugar and must be processed as soon as possible after harvest. Through a combination of alcoholic fermentation and vinegar fermentation, it is possible to preserve the full blackberry aroma.use
Intense in aroma and economical in use! Goes very well with leaf and fruit salads.
Blackberry vinegar is rich in secondary ingredients and has an intensely fruity aroma. Use blackberry vinegar sparingly, either drunk on its own or to refine desserts, fruit or leaf salads.
Blackberry vinegar is particularly suitable:
- to taste sauces (sweet/sour)
- for making salad dressings
- for the production of sophisticated marinades
Blackberry vinegar is untreated and not filtered. A depot can therefore form at the bottom of the bottle. Contains 5% total acid, residual sweetness approx. 250 g/l.
